TOASTED COCONUT (KERISIK)
Kerisik is used in Malaysian, Indonesian, Bruneian and Singaporean cooking. Coconut is grated, toasted, then ground to a paste. It is sometimes referred to as coconut butter. It is used in dishes such as kerabu salads and rendang.
