Ayam Panggang Gaharu is a traditional Malay grilled or roasted chicken dish.  The chicken is first marinated in flavourful mix of herbs and spices.  Then braised in coconut milk, lime leaves and flavoured with toasted coconut. Then roasted or grilled. Basting frequently with the gravy while roasting/grilling.

HEAT: MEDIUM TO HOT (Use less amount of chilli paste for a milder dish)

SHELF LIFE: One month in the fridge or longer if frozen

SERVE:  3 TO 4 people

You will need:

1 Medium whole chicken

400ml Coconut milk

Lemon or lime  juice
