Kapitan Curry is a Malaysian fusion dish. (Peranakan Nyonya Dish). A distinctly Nyonya flavoured curry that embodies the history of Malacca, Malaysia. It combines Indian curry with Malaysian and Chinese ingredients which is richer, infused with the aromas of lemongrass, lime leaves and aromatic spices.

Kapitan Curry is a Malaysian fusion dish. (Peranakan Nyonya Dish) – Nyonya is a culture that arose from the fusion of Chinese and Malay cultures. This curry is a richer, drier, thicker version of the standard Malay chicken curry. It has a distinctive South-east Asian flavour from local spices & herbs such as galangal, candlenuts, lemongrass, and kaffir lime leaves. Belacan ( shrimp paste )– is also added to give the dish more depth.
